To prepare the lentil soup, we need  :

  • Two hundred and fifty grams of lentils
  • One hundred and fifty grams of chicken meat cut into small pieces
  • A carrot, cut into small pieces
  • One medium onion, chopped
  • One medium potato, cut into small pieces
  • One medium tomato, cut into small pieces
  • Two tablespoons of parsley and coriander, chopped
  • Four tablespoons of olive oil and table oil mixture
  • two cloves of garlic, crushed
  • Tablespoon of cumin
  • Teaspoon of mush
  • a small spoon of salt
  • Half a teaspoon of black pepper
  • One and a half liters of water

How to prepare lentil soup on the Moroccan way  :

We take a cooker and put it on low heat, then add the olive oil mixture to it, then add the chicken pieces to the pot and add a little salt and a little black pepper, then fry the chicken pieces well until they become red, then we empty the chicken from the pot and set it aside

In the same oil remaining in the pan, add the chopped onions and the chopped carrots into small pieces and cut the potatoes, then add the crushed garlic and stir the ingredients with each other until they are well-fried. And black pepper and turn the ingredients together well until they blend in between each other then add a liter and a half of water and leave it over high heat and when the mixture reaches a boiling point we save the temperature and let it cook for forty minutes

While cooking lentils, you can roast bread and eat it with lentils. To prepare it, you should cut the bread into small pieces and sprinkle it with olive oil, then put it in the oven until it roasts

After the lentils are cooked, we can grind them with the electric mixer well so that they are homogeneous, or they can be left as is. This is according to the desire, then we add to it the previously prepared chicken pieces and some chopped parsley, then mix the soups well until they are homogeneous and can be served with a little sour and toast
